1963 Studebaker Lark

When you're young and broke, you buy what you can afford. I paid $300 bucks for it. But even that can't excuse buying a 6 cylinder automatic Studebaker. I drove it to work for a few months in the summer of '71 or '72 to the gas station where I was working in Princeton Ontario, and where we also worked on the 305 race car in the shop. I blew a connecting rod out the side of the block just past the big sweeping curve in Falkland on Highway 2 between Paris and Princeton trying to keep up with one of the other guys who regularly frequented the shop.  Easy come, easy go.
